Hello, and welcome to my website. My name is Georgia & I have built up my creative business Unique Technique over the past 15 years. Over these years I have developed different areas of my creative work. Unique Technique is a creative company, specialising in Makeup & Face Paint. & incorporates all my loves and passions.

My journey started studying ‘Specialist Makeup’ HND in London’s West Thames College, receiving a Distinction. I chose to follow the fashion and media route, & was where I first learnt of body painting & started making costumes.

After that I continued my journey in the Beauty and Makeup industry working for some of the top premium brands including Clinique, Elizabeth Arden and Chanel.

I then went on to start my own business. In the beginning my main focus was Bridal Makeup. I also use to make & paint things, but this area of the business developed much later on. I then started to face paint. It was a natural progression. I worked at events and parties. It was so popular that it became my main focus of work.

10 years ago, I started my journey with Cirque de la Quirk, which is a stage at IOW Festival. & for the past 4 years I have been Head Makeup Artist, running the backstage team, providing Makeup for Performers and Artists. It is without doubt one of my favourite jobs.

& around 5 years ago I started making decor for events and festivals. I have always had a passion for creativity and painting and have painted numerous murals. & around this time I also developed my tutorials and workshops, teaching adults and children to paint using quality face paints. I have run these with ‘The New Carnival Company’, and I work closely with them at many of their events, making or painting things, or people!

Now my work is a combination of the above, including some other bespoke services you will find on this website. I like to mix this up and keep things interesting! Jack of all trades, master of everything! …as I like to say!
